Our Commitment

Scientific Rigor

Scientific rigor is a foundational principle at the Positive Psychology Institute. Consistent with a commitment to evidence-based practice, the Psychophysiologic Habits Alignment and Resilience Observational Study (PHAROS) Study is being conducted under independent ethical oversight by Solutions IRB, as evidenced by our IRB Letter of Record

This documentation demonstrates our strong commitment to research integrity, human-subject protections, and translational credibility. It also offers partners, participants, and stakeholders transparent assurance that the research adheres to established standards for responsible scientific inquiry.

The PHAROS study protocol is expected to undergo formal review in February 2026.

Our Pilot Cohort's Results Are Highly Encouraging

In an initial pilot cohort (Alpha Cohort), our program participants experienced statistically significant psychological and physiological gains in resilience, stress perception, identity integration, and meaning consolidation.

Psychological Gains

Our pilot program data indicate that our integrative coaching model produced statistically significant gains in perceived stress reduction, identity commitment, meaning in life, eudaimonic well-being, and resilience, with largest effects observed in depth-aligned domains of identity and purpose, supporting progression to larger longitudinal observational studies.

Physiologic Gains

In addition to psychological improvements, pilot-phase participants who voluntarily contributed de-identified wearable summaries demonstrated gains in autonomic regulation as measured by heart rate variability (HRV) and Sleep Quality, affirming the potential for  multidimensional coherence of PPI’s integrative model.

"The coaching gave me a practical framework for enhancing my performance and defining my purpose. It helped me clarify priorities, build structure, and follow through consistently. What stands out most is my coach's presence—he hears what I’m really asking even when I can’t fully articulate it, and he turns that into clear next steps."
